Reading List, Articles, Plant and Seed Sources, and More…
The American entomologist E.O. Wilson called insects “the little things that run the world”. Another American entomologist, Douglas Tallamy, is the author of Bringing Nature Home, an informative and truly inspirational book on the subject of the connection between native plants and insects, and the power we hold to effect positive change. This book, and its follow up Nature’s Best Hope, are at the top of our reading list for a good reason! We also urge you to read Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring, the seminal work that started the environmental movement. We hope you will find the following information, articles and links to be informative and useful.
